เหตุไรใจข้าเกิดท้อถอย
เหตุไรโศกเศร้าบ่อยบ่อย
เหตุไรว้าเหว่วังเวงใจ
เห็นว่าความตายดีกว่า
พระเยซูเป็นพระผู้ช่วย
ทรงเป็นผู้เลี้ยงของข้า

พระองค์ทรงเลี้ยงนกน้อยใหญ่
ข้าจึงรู้ทรงเลี้ยงข้าด้วย
พระองค์ทรงเลี้ยงนกน้อยใหญ่

ร้องเพลงเพราะว่าข้าชื่นใจ
ร้องเพลงเพราะข้าเป็นไท
เพราะพระองค์ทรงเลี้ยงนกน้อยใหญ่
ข้าจึงรู้ทรงเลี้ยงข้าด้วย

อย่าให้ใจท่านวิตกเลย
พระองค์สัญญาไว้แล้ว
จงวางใจในพระเยซู
ข้าสิ้นสงสัยไม่กลัว
แม้ว่าข้าเห็นเพียงก้าวเดียว
ข้าก็ยินดีเดินตาม

เมื่อมารทดลองจิตใจข้า
ทำให้เกิดความสงสัย
เมื่อข้าถอนใจแทนการร้องเพลง
เมื่อหมดความหวังในใจ
จึงเข้าเฝ้าใกล้พระเยซู
ทรงช่วยให้ชื่นบานใจ
